Longmont Meals on Wheels delivers hot, healthy meals to the homes of older adults and people with disabilities in Longmont and Niwot. The agency also checks on its customers every day.
Most clients struggle to prepare a meal for themselves, whether they can't stand long enough to cook, can't leave the house regularly or find the diet their doctor placed them on to be confusing. These services help older adults and people with disabilities to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
Folks over 55 and their guests can also join us for lunch at the Longmont Senior Center. Meals are served 11:30-12:00. Guests are welcome to come early or stay later to chat with other diners.
Through its Project Homecoming every resident of Longmont or Niwot can receive five free meals after returning from a hospital or out-patient stay.
