Habitat is hosting a monthly series on housing equity and inclusion, partnering with different local nonprofit organizations and housing industry partners. These conversations explore historical and current housing discrimination, affordability and accessibility barriers, and the policies that have shaped our current situation. We examine how these patterns influence where people live today, how neighborhood divides shape perceptions of “neighbor,” and how bias and fragmentation persist along with the opportunities to address our current situation.
